PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: September 24, 2025

Detailer Command (“Detailer Command,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit detailercommand.com, app.detailercommand.com, and any other Detailer Command websites, web applications, or subdomains that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Sites”) and when you use our software-as-a-service platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”), including our SMS/mobile messaging program.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described below.

1) Information We Collect

We collect information that directly identifies you—such as your name, business name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, device identifiers, and payment-method details tokenized by our gateway. We also collect:

Commercial data – subscription tier, purchase history, usage metrics, feature preferences, support interactions.

Technical data – IP address, device and browser type, referring URLs, pages viewed, time-on-page, clicks, session logs, error logs, and similar analytics.

Account & workspace data – team member names/emails, roles, permissions, calendars, forms, pipelines, automations, templates, and configuration metadata.

Client Customer Data (your end customers) – contact information, appointment details, vehicle/notes, messages, invoices, and any content you capture via the platform. (See §2 “Controller vs. Processor.”)

SMS data – mobile number, opt-in date/time, carrier, opt-in IP address, delivery/engagement logs, and any message content you send (e.g., STOP/HELP and variants).

No mobile information will ever be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 and we do not buy personal data from brokers.

2) How We Use Information

We use your information to:

deliver, operate, and personalize the SaaS platform;

authenticate users, administer accounts, and enforce permissions;

process payments and send receipts;

send service notifications, appointment reminders, product updates, and (optional) promotions;

provide support and respond to requests;

analyze usage to improve performance, security, features, and customer experience;

detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations;

comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

Controller vs. Processor.

For your own account data (e.g., your business profile, user logins), Detailer Command is a controller.

For Client Customer Data you enter into the platform, you (the customer) are the controller and Detailer Command acts as a processor (service provider). We process Client Customer Data solely per your instructions, our Terms, and this Policy. A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available upon request.

3) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and compile aggregate analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function.

4) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers / sub-processors (e.g., hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, payment gateways, SMS/telephony/CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel) bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms, and only as needed to provide our Services;

Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or security;

Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with prior notice where feasible).

Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are never shared or sold for third-party marketing.

5) Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest where supported. We employ firewalls, multi-factor authentication, role-based/least-privilege access, audit logging, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow industry standards.

6) Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes stated in §2 or as required by law, then securely delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account or Client Customer Data at any time (see §7).

7) Your Choices & Rights

Access / Correct / Delete – e-mail [email protected].

Opt-out of e-mail – click “Unsubscribe” in any message.

Opt-out of SMS – reply with STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT (one confirmation SMS will follow).

Cookies – adjust browser settings.

Do-Not-Track – we honor DNT signals where technically feasible.

If you are an end customer of one of our detailer clients, please contact that business directly to exercise your rights; we will assist them as the processor.

8) California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA & CalOPPA)

For California residents, we act as a service provider for Client Customer Data processed on behalf of our business customers. For your own account data, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or limit the use of sensitive personal information, subject to exceptions. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by CPRA. To exercise rights, see §7.

9) Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

We do not market to, or knowingly collect data from, children under 13. If we discover such collection, we will delete the data promptly.

10) Fair Information Practices & Data Breach Response

If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users by e-mail within 1 business day of confirmation and cooperate with regulators as required.

11) CAN-SPAM Compliance

All commercial e-mails include our physical address, identify themselves as ads where applicable, and provide a one-click unsubscribe link.

12) SMS / Mobile Messaging Program (A2P-Compliant Disclosures)

13) International Users & GDPR Notes
